Tipperary Tandem duo heading for home

Peter Ryan and Sean Hahessy have gone through Cork city – and the infamous climb of Patricks Hill – in the last hour.

They’re competing in the 2,150 kilometre Race Around Ireland – one of the world’s toughest endurance events.

So far they have covered over 1,600 kilometres with around 500 left before they reach the finish line in Meath.

Peter and Sean are heading towards Youghal at the moment – from there they’ll go on to Cappoquinn, Mt Mellary and into the Premier County passing through Newcastle, Clonmel and Carrick on Suir later today.
