Cahir’s Aisling McCarthy says it’s a great feeling that other girls playing ladies football with her hold her in such high regard.
She was named Intermediate Players Player of the Year recently – ahead of her Cahir teammate Aishling Moloney, and Tyrone captain Neamh Woods.
The nominees were all selected by their fellow players, who could not vote for their own team-mates.
