A stretch of the the M8 in Tipperary has reopened following a crash last night.
A woman was taken to Cork University Hospital following the 2 car collision on the southbound lane between Junction 6 Thurles and Junction 7 Cashel North just before 10pm.
Traffic was diverted via the Old Dublin Road while Gardaí carried out an examination of the crash scene.

Gardai in Thurles are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them on 0504 25100.
