Latest figures show just over 300 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
According to the INMO – University Hospital Limerick and the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar are the most overcrowded with 28 people in need of a bed.
South Tipp General has 19 patients without a bed while there are 3 patients in overflow areas of wards at Nenagh General.
