The pair were arrested on Tuesday afternoon in relation to the unlawful imprisonment of a man on King Street in the town on Monday night.
He was forced into a car before being assaulted – he was found later that night at Powers the Pot in the hills overlooking Clonmel.
The two men are due in court in Cashel this morning.
