A North Tipperary Fianna Fáil Councillor has called on the government to act now to help families in mortgage distress.
Councillor John Hogan says real measures need to be taken to address what he describes as this critical situation.

He claims the government has all but ignored the worsening mortgage arrears crisis since coming into office over a year ago.
Councillor Hogan says he can see how bad the mortgage crisis is getting every day in Tipperary and says the government’s performance in dealing with the problems will be measured by what meaningful action is taken over the next few weeks and months.
