Ireland’s family carers are being celebrated for their work this week.
People are being encouraged to do something thoughtful for carers, help them out and give them a break.
Events will also be taking place across the county and the country to mark National carers week – including a mass in St Marys Clonmel this morning, a mindfulness class tomorrow, and a pampering day at the Japanese Gardens later in the week.
