Pupils and teachers from a number of Tipperary schools are to protest at the Department of Education in Dublin this afternoon.
A delegation of over 140 pupils from the five Primary Schools in Tipp Town along with their principals, teachers and parents will highlight their exclusion from the DEIS scheme.
The scheme – which aims to address educational disadvantage – was initially introduced in 2005.
