Tipperary is included in a Weather Alert issued by Met Éireann for a number of counties in the south of the country.
A Status Yellow rainfall warning comes into effect from 3 o’clock this afternoon and continues until 9 tomorrow morning.
Up to 40 millimetres of rain is forecast.

The alert is also in place for Limerick. Cork, Waterford and Kerry.
