In the wake of Ophelia tributes are being paid to the efforts of local authority staff and emergency services in Tipperary.
At its peak there were literally hundreds of fallen trees across the five Municipal Districts in the county.
Most of these are now clear thanks to the work of ESB and County Council crews.

Independent Councillor Martin Lonergan has praised their efforts.
