The farm inspections system is set to be reviewed after a successful campaign by North Tipperary IFA.
The local branch of the Irish Farmers Association took their case to the Oireachtas Agriculture Committee last week in protest over a high level of inspections and penalties in the Premier.
The Department of Agriculture has now agreed to review the process to make it more farmer-friendly.
