Hospitals serving Tipperary busy today

There are over 60 people on trolleys at the main hospitals serving Tipperary this afternoon.

Today’s “Trolley Watch” figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there’s a total of 367 patients without a bed at hospitals across the country.

University Hospital Limerick – which provides Emergency Department cover for North Tipperary – is the most overcrowded of all today with 43 people on trolleys or in overflow areas of wards.
