The head of Tipperary’s Chamber of Commerce says the expected closure of Dunnes in Clonmel town centre leaves a big retail hole in the town’s main thoroughfare.
It is understood that the company will close its drapery store on O’Connell Street next month; however the 8 staff members have been offered alternative employment at the Dunnes Store on the Davis Road.
