Upgrading works to the existing surgical theatre at Nenagh General Hospital are to start next month.
That's according to North Tipp Councillor and HSE West member John Carroll.

He has received further commitments from the HSE Regional Director of Operations that works will also be starting on the proposed new surgical theatre at the hospital.
Councillor Carroll raised the issue at this weeks HSE West Forum Meeting and describes the news as an important step forward in securing a positive future for Nenagh Hospital.
These works were agreed by the previous Government as part of the Capital Works Programme.
