Over €3m has been announced to carry out improvements at the homes of older people and people with a disability in Tipperary.
The exchequer is providing 80%, or nearly 2.5 million of the funding, while Tipperary County Council will come up with over €600,000.
This investment will allow extensions to be built for people with a disability as well as housing adaptations to improve mobility aid such as stair lifts and access ramps.
