Council say lessons learned following horse cruelty case

Tipperary County Council say lessons have been learned following the recent incidents of animal cruelty in the Clonmel area.

A number of horses were found dead in a field in Knocklofty last month while others were in a severely malnourished state – these were taken to a pound in Cork.

All 17 were sent to different animal welfare groups
