It’s claimed “parking fee dodgers” are causing major problems for many of Carrick on Suir’s older residents.
The issue was raised during a general debate among local councillors on congestion in the South Tipp Town and the need for a better traffic management plan to ease the regular evening gridlock.
Double parking on the main street was highlighted as a particular problem while Sinn Fein representative David Dunne says motorists just abandoning their vehicles in housing estates also needs to be tackled
