There are over 80 patients without a bed at hospitals serving Tipperary this afternoon.
Acording to the Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation there are 41 people at both South Tipp General and University Hospital Limerick in need of a bed.
These are split between trolleys on corridors around the Emergency Department and in overflow areas of wards.

Nationally the numbers have increased from 391 yesterday to 470 today.
Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded with 49 people without a bed.
