Forensic investigators are at a house just over the Tipperary border in County Limerick after gunshots were heard there overnight.
The alarm was raised just after midnight in the village of Castleconnell.

Gardaí say they’ve found a number of spent shell casings at the scene.
They’re asking for witnesses to come forward and say their inquiries are ongoing.
