Two men are due to appear in court this morning in connection with an incident in Clonmel earlier this week.
The pair – in their 20s and 30s – were arrested on Wednesday morning following a break-in to a house in the Irishtown area.
The occupier of the house was subsequently assaulted after he gave chase to the pair.

The men are due before Youghal District Court this morning.
