In local rugby, teams from Clonmel, Nenagh and Cashel were all in action today.
Clonmel were defeated by Skerries in the AIL by 13 points to 12.
Elsewhere, Nenagh Ormond lost out to Queens University by 24 points to 3, while Cashel were defeated by UL Bohs 28-24.
