Permission has been granted for a new playground in Ardfinnan.
Tipperary County Council has approved an application from the local Community Council to demolish the former creamery building on the Main Street in the village which has lain idle for many years.
This will be replaced with a playground which will be just metres from the local National School and near the sensory garden and walk.
