A status yellow rainfall warning for Tipperary, Munster, and a number of other counties is in effect until 2pm this afternoon.
Met Eireann is warning of surface flooding.
A Status Yellow Wind Warning is also in place until 3pm, where gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour are forecast.
