Claims popular Thurles walkway damaged to allow horses access river

Calls have been made for Tipperary County Council to repair some damage done to the Ladyswell walkway in Thurles.

It is a popular area with families, however recently horses are being led along the pathway and down to the water.

It’s resulted in horse droppings being left along the pathway while some intentional structural damage has also been caused to the pathway and river bank to allow the horses gain access.
