Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin has been called on to investigate the circumstances of the Fianna Fail vote on the chairmanship of the County Council in Tipperary.
Under the 5 year pact agreed between local Fine Gael and Fianna Fail members, Councillor Michael Smith should have been Cathaoirleach but a split within Fianna Fail resulted in Councillor Mattie Ryan “Coole” being elected.
