In the second hour of Tipp Today we were joined in studio by Tara Callanan from Revenue who went through some of our entitlements and also answered some listener questions, we also spoke to Michael Joseph who called in to the show with some ideas on how the health service can save money – His main one was that they leave all the lights on all the time! And we spoke to Declan Power from Shannon Airport ahead of their holiday show this weekend.

We also had our friday panel with solicitor Kieran Cleary, Deputy Editor of the Irish Farmers Journal Caitriona Morrissey and one of our listeners Paul McCarthy where we discussed the topics of whether home owners should arm themselves in order to protect themselves and their home from intruders, if we have become a passive nation that won’t protest and if we still value saints in modern society.
