University Hospital Limerick is once again the most overcrowded in the country today.
The hospital – which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare – has 59 patients without a bed.
South Tipp General in Clonmel has 18 people being treated on trolleys around the Emergency Department or in overflow areas of wards.

Nationally the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is reporting 540 patients left without a bed today.
