Over 360 patients are without a bed at hospitals across the country today.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation almost a third of these are in hospitals serving Tipperary patients.
South Tipp General in Clonmel has a total of 28 – 19 of these are on trolleys around the Emergency Department with another 9 in overflow areas.
At University Hospital Limerick which provides Emergency Department cover for North Tipp – there are 51 patients without a bed, which is the most overcrowded in the Country today.

Cork is reporting 18 patients without a bed this lunchtime and 23 in Waterford.
