The latest JNLR – IPSOS – MRBI 2017 listenership figures have been released and Tipp FM remains the Premier Choice in the Premier County.
The award-winning station continues to enjoy a comfortable lead over its rival National and regional stations in Tipperary.
Tipp FM has consolidated its pole position as the most-listened to station in the county with over 67,000 people tuning in weekly.
While all weekday shows continue to perform well, of particular note, are the gains made across that station’s weekend schedule – which has recently seen the inclusion of new shows including an all-new Saturday Breakfast Show, and the ever-popular Sunday Premier Country, which has now been extended to Saturdays.
Commenting on today’s figures, John Purcell – Chairperson of the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland – said radio is still extremely popular.
