The final Grand Slam of the year, the US Open, gets underway at Flushing Meadows today.
Both Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray are missing the tournament through injury, so both Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal will be hoping to add to their major haul.
However neither are in action today, with pick of the action coming from the women’s draw.

Maria Sharaova, who was handed a wildcard entry into the tournament, takes on second seed Simona Halep.
Elsewhere Wimbledon champion Garbine Muguruza faces home favourite Varvara Lepchenko.
