A number of arrests have been made by Gardaí as part of a crackdown on the drug trade.
Gardaí carried out a search of a house in Clonmel on Tuesday afternoon last.
During the operation in the Cooleens Close area €1,000 worth of heroin was found.

As well as the significant discovery of the Class A drug Gardai also seized a sawn-off shotgun and a quantity of ammunition.
Three people were arrested – a man and woman who are both in their 40s and another man in his 20s
They are being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Thurles, Cahir and Clonmel Garda stations.
Garda investigations are ongoing.
