Patients in Tipperary in need of treatment from Emergency Departments can expect long delays today.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organistion University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp – is the most overcrowded in the country, with 46 people waiting for a bed.
South Tipp General in Clonmel also has 26 people on trolleys in the Emergency Department and in overflow areas of wards.

Overall there are 384 patients waiting for a bed across the country this lunchtime.
