Galway are Leinster hurling champions for the first time since 2012, after showing why they’re favourites to win the Liam McCarthy Cup.
A hugely impressive second half performance by the Tribesmen helped them pull away from Wexford to beat Davy Fitzgerald’s side by 29 points to 1-17 in yesterday’s final.
Joe Canning contributed 10 points from placed balls while Conor Cooney also scored an incredible 8 points from play.
