There are over 350 people waiting for a hospital bed across the country today.
Figures from The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that overcrowding remains a problem.
University Hospital Galway is the most overcrowded with 36 people waiting on trolleys and in overflow areas of wards.

That’s followed by University Hospital Limerick where there’s 30 people waiting for a bed.
There are just 2 patients without a bed at South Tipp General in Clonmel this afternoon.
