Upperchurch Drombane are through to the Mid Tipperary Cahill Cup semi finals after they beat JK Bracken’s in Drombane last night.
The ‘Church lead 0-10 to 0-7 at half time and pulled away in the second half with points from Colm Ryan, Matthew Greene and Pat Shortt to win on a score line of 0-20 to 0-10.
Afterwards Upperchurch manager John Ryan told Tipp FM Sport it was a good battle for both teams
Thurles Sarsfields and Holycross Ballycahill are also through to the semi finals after the county champions beat Clonakenny 4-13 to 0-13 in Clonakenny while Holycross Ballycahill beat 2016 Cahill cup winners Moycarkey Borris 1-23 to 2-18 in Littleton.
This evening Loughmore Castleiney makes the short trip to the Ragg to take on Drom Inch in the remaining quarter final. Throw in is at 7.30pm
