Fine Gael has decided to stop holding church gate collections in Tipperary.
The issue was discussed at a recent internal review of the party in the county.
Fine Gael policy officer in Tipperary Mary Newman says the majority of those attending were in favour of ending the practice.

Speaking on Tipp Today she said they felt other groups may have been losing out on much needed funding.
